Mr. Hanson represents employers in various matters before both state and federal courts as well as administrative forums.  His practice includes the defense of claims brought by employees under Title VII, the Wisconsin Fair Employment Law, Michigan 's Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, the Illinois Human Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Wisconsin Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disability Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

Prior to joining Lindner & Marsack, S.C. , Mr. Hanson was an associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP.  While at Hinshaw, Mr. Hanson participated in all phases of civil litigation, defending employers, corporations, insurers, and doctors in employment, commercial, insurance coverage, and medical malpractice disputes.  

Mr. Hanson received his law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a major in political science.  He also attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an undergraduate where he was a member of the school's final baseball team and, before attending law school, played five seasons of professional baseball in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Mr. Hanson is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin , the Northern District of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Michigan.  He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and its Litigation and Labor and Employment sections, and also a member of the American Bar Association and the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association.

Mr. Hanson serves on the City of Cedarburg, Wisconsin Sewerage Commission, is an assistant baseball coach at Whitefish Bay High School in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin , and is an active member of both the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club and the National W Club for University of Wisconsin-Madison athletic letter winners.
